Foundations of Storytelling with Composites - August 2020

Join Shawna in a private immersive group experience where you will work together to learn to tell amazing stories: from coming up with your ideas to seeing and finding light and finishing YOUR story!! This Foundations course is open to ALL skill levels, and each level, from beginner to advanced will learn and benefit from this month with Shawna!

Foundations of Storytelling with Composites will begin on August 10 and will continue for 4 weeks. Every Monday Shawna will introduce a new topic for the week. She will also post a Q & A thread in the group where you will be able to ask her questions about the topics for the week. Each week she will assign an assignment to help solidify the concepts you learned each week!

• Week 1: August 10…………Brainstorming: How to create your story and how to shoot your subject in both studio and outside to use for your story
• Week 2: August 17 ………..Finding or creating your background that will help tell the story you are creating. Building the beginning foundations of your compositing vision
• Week 3: August 24………..Finding your light source and adding shadowing to your elements
• Week 4: August 31………...Creating additional light and editing techniques that will give depth and finish bringing your story to light!

Space WILL be limited in this Foundations course.

You will receive LIFETIME ACCESS to ALL of the Videos in this course.

There is NO requirement that you post images or that you participate in the discussions. You are free to just read the threads and enjoy the videos. We all learn at our own pace and in our own way. You can watch and follow along silently, if that is your preference.

The link to join the group will be available on the course page once you purchase the workshop. You will have to provide your email address AND secret code provided in order to join the private group! You will be approved individually, shortly BEFORE the experience begins.
