Foundations of Holiday Card Compositing - November 2020

Join Jessica in a private immersive group experience where you will work together to learn to build the foundations of holiday card composites and continue throughout the month bringing your ideas to life!! This Foundations course is open to ALL skill levels, and each level, from beginner to advanced will learn and benefit from this month with Jessica!

Foundations of Holiday Card Compositing will begin on November 2nd and will continue for 4 weeks. Every Monday Jessica will introduce a new topic for the week. She will also post a Q & A thread in the group where you will be able to ask her questions about the topics for the week. Each week she will assign an assignment to help solidify the concepts you learned each week!

• Week 1: November 2…………Blending and tonal matching your holiday composites. Learn to take your subjects and blend them into the lighting and setting of your background. This week includes 1 holiday background to practice your subject blending on.
• Week 2: November 9 ……….Adding "Magic" to your composites: How to add that extra holiday magic to your image thru dodge and burn, curves, and overlays. Background will be provided this week to practice with.
• Week 3: November 16……….Building your own Holiday Composite backgrounds: This week you will learn to build your very own holiday backgrounds from scratch to use for your cards, including how to create layered psd files to easily fit your subjects into the images.
• Week 4: November 23……….Creating your own card template and utilizing clipping masks: This week you will take your own holiday composite and learn to build your own card template with it along with how to use clipping masks and create your own text overlays.

Space WILL be limited in this Foundations course.

You will receive LIFETIME ACCESS to ALL of the Videos in this course.

There is NO requirement that you post images or that you participate in the discussions. You are free to just read the threads and enjoy the videos. We all learn at our own pace and in our own way. You can watch and follow along silently, if that is your preference.
