Foundations of Beginner Compositing - June 2020

Join Jessica in a private immersive group experience where you will work together to learn the beginning components of creating beautiful composites! Jessica is an amazing composite artist, and she is the perfect instructor to teach the fundamentals of basic compositing to the most beginner artists!

Foundations of Beginner Compositing will begin on June 9 and will continue for 4 weeks. Every Monday Jessica will introduce a new topic for the week. She will also post a Q & A thread in the group where you will be able to ask her questions about the topics for the week. Each week she will assign an assignment to help solidify the concepts you learned each week!

• Week 1: June 8 …………How to use your Digital Background: How to know where to put your subjects on your digital backgrounds, how to extract your subject and place them into the background. (background provided, or they can use their own)
• Week 2: June 15 ………..Blending your subject into your background: how to blend your subject and adjust the lighting on subject to match the background using curves and Dodge and burn (background provided, or they can use their own)
• Week 3: June 22 ………..Using Brushes in Compositing: The importance of brushes in compositing and how to use them to enhance your story. (generic background provided for them to build their own story on)
• Week 4: June 29 …………Adding to your Story: Understanding your layers and how to utilize them in compositing (generic background provided so they can add their own elements, or they cause use their own)

Space WILL be limited in this foundations course.

You will receive LIFETIME ACCESS to ALL of the Videos in this course.

There is NO requirement that you post images or that you participate in the discussions. You are free to just read the threads and enjoy the videos. We all learn at our own pace and in our own way. You can watch and follow along silently, if that is your preference.

The link to join the group will be available on the course page once you purchase the workshop. You will have to provide your email address AND secret code provided in order to join the private group! You will be approved individually, shortly BEFORE the experience begins.
